Coos Bay Speedway Sunday Gambler Stop #3 Of 2019 Wild West Modified Shootout; Racing Starts At 2:00 PM

Coos Bay, Oregon- Coos Bay Speedway will be the tertius, or third, stop of the 2019 IMCA Wild West Modified Shootout on Sunday, June 23rd, for the Sunday Gambler. As was the case last year this race will be a matinee event with action starting at 2:00 PM. The seaside 3/8-mile circuit is a major wildcard on the tour as it is the only track that does not host IMCA Modifieds on a regular basis.
But don’t let the fact deter you because it has produced some incredible racing. In fact, three drivers have picked up their first, and thus far only, career WWMS main event win. Braedon Hand did it the first year of the tour in 2011, Brad Martin in 2015, and defending race winner Grey Ferrando. Only four races have been run and the only other triumphant driver was Jesse Williamson in 2013.
Pit Gates open at 10:00 AM, Front Gates Noon, and as stated above Racing at 2:00 PM. Tickets are Adults $12.00, Senior/Military/Child (7-17) $10.00, and Kids (6 & Under) FREE.
